More good news on the water shortage and dam capacity front, as the Meteorological Service forecasts more rain across the island, mostly over the weekend, coupled by breezy spring days, temperatures rising slightly over 20 and colder nights.
A high pressure system is still affecting the area and today will see mostly sunny clear skies with cloudy spells and high winds, particularly in coastal regions.
Winds will initially be westerly to northwesterly, moderate to strong force four to five, dropping light to moderate force three to four during the day, over moderate to rough seas and moderate in the Paphos area.
Temperatures will rise to 19 degrees Celsius inland and in coastal regions and eight on the mountains.

It will turn increasingly overcast tomorrow and Saturday, with isolated showers expected over the weekend as temperatures rise to the low 20s, well above the seasonal average.
