Aphrodite Folklore Group Performs at Taste of Cyprus Festival

The Paphos-based group presented traditional Cycladic dances on the opening day of the festival at the Medieval Castle.

The Aphrodite Folklore Group took part in the opening day of the Taste of Cyprus Festival on 31 July at the Paphos Medieval Castle, presenting a programme of traditional dances from the Cyclades.

The performance brought the vibrancy and character of Greek island traditions to festival-goers and was warmly received by the audience.

The group's dancers earned enthusiastic applause from spectators, highlighting the enduring appeal of Greek folk cultural heritage.

In a statement, the Aphrodite Folklore Group thanked the organisers of the festival for the invitation, as well as those who attended and supported the event. Special thanks were also extended to the parents of the group's children for their continued support and trust.
