Who Looked the Other Way? Illegal Businesses on Prime State‑Owned Seafront Land in Protaras
On prime state‑owned seafront land leased to the Municipality of Paralimni for the creation of a parking area, a massage business has been operating since 2022 without any licence. Moreover, the premises are located within the Beach Protection Zone. Instructions were issued for the conduct of a criminal investigation when it was established that no competent authority had taken any action to restore legality.
