Convict Arrested In Demosthenous Murder Case

Four more suspects are in custody in connection with the same case.

 

Police on Tuesday arrested a 30-year-old convict in connection with the premeditated murder of 49-year-old Stavros Demosthenous, committed last Friday in Limassol.

According to the Police, the new suspect is a convict in the Central Prison.

Further details regarding the suspect's involvement have not yet been officially announced.

The suspect is alleged to be cellmates with a person against whom an investigation was carried out two days ago and who is involved in another murder case that took place two years ago.

In addition to the 30-year-old, four more suspects aged 58, 44, 39 and 30 are in custody in connection with the same case.
