A “joint search and rescue exercise” between Turkey and the north, named Tsaner Gyoneli, will take place between June 22 and 26, involving land, maritime and aerial operations.
The land phase of the exercise will be conducted in occupied Kyrenia, while the naval phase will take place off the coast of occupied Famagusta.
According to Kıbrıs Postası, the exercise will involve Turkish land, naval and air forces, as well as the “gendarmerie,” the “coast guard,” the “security forces command” and other agencies and organisations.
