A fire broke out in dry grass and reeds near the community of Meniko in Nicosia district shortly before noon on Sunday.
According to a post by Fire Service spokesperson Andreas Kettis, the Fire Service responded with three staffed fire engines from Nicosia fire stations.
Kettis said the fire has been brought under control.
