A masked man allegedly used an angle grinder to break into a kiosk in Limassol before stealing an entire payment terminal, according to a Facebook post accompanied by videos purportedly showing the incident.
The break-in reportedly occurred at a kiosk on Misiaouli and Kavazoglou Street between 5am and 5.30am.
The individual allegedly cut through the kiosk’s door with the grinder before entering the premises and removing an OTERO machine used to process mobile phone data and transactions.
The machine was later found smashed on Makariou Avenue. According to the post, the cash it contained had been removed.
