The Xylofagou Community Council is expected to issue an announcement today following a meeting held to discuss a financial contribution towards the repatriation of the two children who lost their lives in last Sunday's tragedy.
The community remains deeply shaken by the incident, in which two boys, aged eight and 10, were found dead inside a vehicle in Xylofagou.
The circumstances surrounding their deaths have yet to be established, while the children's father remains under arrest as investigations continue.
Amid the grief that has engulfed the community, the Community Council is expected to inform residents about the arrangements for a fundraising effort aimed at covering the costs of returning the two children to their homeland for burial.
