The Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the EU, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth, has announced a further eight scholarships for postgraduate studies, offered by the European Institute of Management and Finance (EIMF). The scholarships are being granted to mark the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the EU 2026, and comprise two full scholarships (100%) and six partial scholarships (50%) for the 2026–2027 academic year.

With the addition of the EIMF scholarships, the total number offered by higher education institutions in Cyprus in connection with the Cyprus Presidency has risen to 118.
Scholarships by institution
The scholarships previously announced by university, along with information links for applicants, are as follows:
University of Cyprus: 6 scholarships (2 full and 4 partial). Information.

Eligibility
The scholarships are open to Cypriot and European citizens, subject to the eligibility criteria set by each individual university.
The initiative forms part of the Cyprus Presidency's broader focus on youth, identified as a key priority of the Presidency, aimed at supporting the younger generation's access to education. The Ministry of Education and the Cyprus Presidency expressed their thanks to all participating higher education institutions for their support of the initiative.
