Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos has held a farewell meeting with US Ambassador to Cyprus Julie S. Davis, praising her role in advancing relations between Nicosia and Washington.
In a post on X on Friday, Kombos said he had a “warm and cordial” meeting with Davis as she concludes what he described as her pivotal tenure as Ambassador of the United States to Cyprus.
He said he expressed his deep appreciation for her friendship, as well as for her “unwavering dedication and contribution” to strengthening Cyprus-US cooperation and the strategic partnership between the two countries.
