The second day of the trial over the Tempi train disaster unfolded in a charged atmosphere at the Three-Member Court of Appeal for Felonies, with emotional reactions and tensions among relatives of the victims.
Several family members protested over the conditions inside the courtroom, particularly the fact that not everyone was allowed to enter the main hall. Some relatives were instead directed to an adjacent room, where they could follow the proceedings without visual contact with the bench or with their lawyers.
Despite the tension that prevailed at the beginning of the session, the hearing ultimately proceeded normally. The court later decided to adjourn the trial until Holy Monday, when the proceedings will resume.
During the session, the court also accepted a request by lawyer Zoe Konstantopoulou for the audio recording of the proceedings. The decision was taken despite an earlier opposing recommendation by the prosecutor.

Regarding the possibility of video recording the trial, the court stated that it will issue a decision once the formal verification of all lawyers participating in the case has been completed.
