Thirty-Nine Flights Cancelled On Friday At Larnaca Airport

Twenty-two arrivals and seventeen departures affected, with routes to major European destinations among those cancelled.

Thirty-nine flights have been cancelled on Friday at Larnaca International Airport “Glafcos Clerides”, according to airport data. The cancellations include both arrivals and departures and affect several major European routes.

In total, 22 arrivals and 17 departures have been cancelled.

Cancelled arrivals

Among the cancelled arrivals are flights operated by several European carriers. These include Edelweiss at 12:15 on the Zurich route, Lufthansa at 12:40 to Munich, another Lufthansa flight at 14:45 to Frankfurt, Austrian Airlines at 16:30 to Vienna, a second Lufthansa flight at 16:30 to Munich, and an Emirates flight scheduled for 18:05 to Malta.

Cancelled departures

Six of the cancelled departures also concern European destinations. The affected routes include flights to London, Malta, Zurich, Munich, Frankfurt and Vienna.
