President Nikos Christodoulides offered a warm farewell to outgoing ministers Alexis Vafeades, Maria Panayiotou and Lina Kassianidou during the swearing-in ceremony for the government's new members.
Particular attention was drawn to his comments about former Transport Minister Alexis Vafeades, whom he described as consistently willing and devoted to his duties.
"I'm certain he is one of the few people who would stand in front of me to take the bullet," Christodoulides said.

The President described Maria Panayiotou as "extremely hardworking", noting that she confronted demanding challenges with both a smile and determination.
He referred to Lina Kassianidou as "dynamic and tireless", highlighting her energy and commitment in office.
