Remaining faithful to its commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle and raising awareness among the new generation about the values ​​of proper nutrition, Lidl Cyprus had a strong “presence” at this year’s Ayia Napa Youth Soccer Festival 2026. As a Platinum Sponsor, the company acted as a key pillar of support, directly linking sports activities with “well-being” for thousands of children and families who flocked to the event from April 4 to 8.

Within this framework, Lidl Cyprus implemented a comprehensive action plan, offering daily quality and nutritious food options, while at the same time contributing to the creation of a lively and entertaining atmosphere.   • Through the Lidl Vantastic Canteen, a total of over 870 kilos of bananas and more than 3,000 cereal bars were offered.
  • The Lidl Food Academy On The Go distributed over 4,500 fruit salads and energy bowls, highlighting the gastronomic side of healthy eating.
  • At the same time, 4,000 energy kits were made available to the sports academies as giveaways, providing the necessary energy supplies to young athletes.

With its strategic participation for the 5th consecutive year, Lidl Cyprus underlines its long-standing commitment to actions that protect the health of young people, supporting institutions that encourage movement and proper nutritional education.
