Temporary traffic arrangements will be in place in central Nicosia on Sunday, June 7, as part of a charity event organised by the Alkinoos Artemiou Foundation in cooperation with Nicosia Municipality.
According to the municipality, Archbishop Makarios III Avenue will be closed to traffic from 16:00 until 22:00 to ensure the safe running of the event and the protection of participants.
The closure will apply to the section of the road from its junction with Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue to its junction with Evagorou Avenue.
Nicosia Municipality urged drivers to follow temporary road signs and the instructions of police and authorised officials. It also advised motorists to use alternative routes to avoid delays.
The municipality thanked the public for its understanding and cooperation, noting that the event aims to support children undergoing treatment for cancer.
