US President Donald Trump said on Saturday that he believes the war with Iran could end immediately after November’s midterm elections for Congress. He predicted that oil prices would fall sharply once the conflict ends.
Trump links conflict to elections
“I think very soon. I think probably immediately after the midterm elections. They are trying to hold out as long as they can to complicate the elections, but I think people understand what is happening,” Trump told reporters in Dublin.
“When that happens, oil prices will fall dramatically,” he added.
