The "Baths of Aphrodite-Fontana Amorosa" forest road in the Akamas National Forest Park will be closed to the public from Monday, 9 November 2026, until Monday, 30 November 2026, due to road maintenance works.
In an announcement, the Department of Forests of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment said the closure is necessary to allow essential maintenance of the roadway.
The department apologised for any inconvenience caused, stressing that the works are considered necessary.
It added that a further announcement will be issued if the works are completed earlier than expected or if the closure period needs to be extended.
