Cyprus' annual inflation rate is estimated to have reached 4.0% in June 2026, up from 3.5% in May, according to the flash estimate published by Eurostat on Wednesday. On a monthly basis, inflation in Cyprus is estimated to have increased by 0.8%.
According to Eurostat data, annual inflation in Cyprus has followed an upward trend in recent months, rising from 1.2% in January 2026 to 0.9% in February, 1.5% in March, 3.0% in April, 3.5% in May, and 4.0% in June, based on the flash estimate. By comparison, annual inflation in Cyprus stood at 0.5% in June 2025.
Across the euro area, annual inflation is estimated to have stood at 2.8% in June 2026, down from 3.2% in May.
