The collective efforts to promote the Paphos region have received significant recognition from the tourism and advertising industries, securing two prestigious awards that validate the long-term promotional strategy developed in recent years, according to a statement by the Paphos Regional Board of Tourism (ETAP).
The “Pafos – Unleash Your Senses” campaign received:
- A Gold Award at the Cyprus Tourism Awards 2025 in the Strategy & Innovation – Long-Term Presence category.
- A Bronze Award at the Marketing Achievement Awards 2025 in the Integrated Marketing category.
According to ETAP, the awards are particularly important because they recognise far more than a successful advertising campaign. They acknowledge a pioneering collaboration model created seven years ago, built on a shared vision and a long-term strategic approach.
The Paphos destination campaign is described as the first organised initiative in Cyprus to successfully unite the public and private sectors under a single, coherent destination marketing strategy.
Today, the partnership is considered a benchmark for how collective action can strengthen a destination's competitiveness in international markets.

The achievement, ETAP said, belongs to all partners and stakeholders who embraced the shared vision and contributed to its implementation, including:
- The Paphos Regional Board of Tourism
- The Cyprus Hotel Association (Pasyxe) Paphos District Committee
- Hermes Airports
- Eurobank
- Participating hotels
- Supporting organisations and partners
Special recognition was also given to AZTECH, which was responsible for the campaign's strategic planning and implementation.
According to ETAP, the company's expertise and contribution played a crucial role in the campaign's continuous development and the strengthening of Paphos' international profile.
Beyond the official recognition, the awards serve as a strong incentive to continue and further enhance the successful partnership.
ETAP said the effort to establish Paphos as a modern, sustainable and smart year-round tourism destination remains an ongoing commitment that depends on the continued cooperation and contribution of all partners involved.
