Travellers between Cyprus and the United Kingdom will have a new year-round option from next spring, as Cyprus Airways adds London Stansted to its network. The route will operate daily from 23 April 2027, on what has historically been one of the most important air links between the two countries.
Year-round service
The new scheduled route will connect Larnaca (LCA) and London Stansted (STN) with direct flights every day of the year. It strengthens connectivity between Cyprus and the United Kingdom in all seasons.
According to the airline, the daily schedule gives passengers greater flexibility in planning their travel.
Access to London and south-east England
London remains a global destination for both business and leisure travel. Stansted Airport offers easy, direct access to central London, as well as to the north and east of the capital and the wider south-east of England.

Cyprus Airways chief executive Thanos Paschalis described the launch as a significant milestone for the airline.
“The launch of our new route to London Stansted Airport (STN) is a significant milestone for Cyprus Airways and reflects our ongoing commitment to strengthening air connectivity between Cyprus and the United Kingdom,” he said.
“The United Kingdom has always been a particularly important market for Cyprus, with high demand for leisure travel, business travel and visits to friends and relatives. With the launch of our new route in April 2027, we are pleased to offer passengers more choice and greater flexibility when travelling between the two countries.”
He added that the airline looks forward to welcoming passengers on board and offering them comfort, reliability and authentic Cypriot hospitality.
A growing network
The London route forms part of the airline’s strategy to expand direct connectivity to and from Larnaca Airport. It follows the recent announcement of year-round flights to Munich (MUC) and Rome (FCO).
Cyprus Airways’ current network includes:
- Scheduled flights to Paris (CDG), Milan (MXP), Athens (ATH) and Heraklion (HER)
- Seasonal summer flights to Barcelona (BCN) and other popular destinations, including the Greek islands
- Year-round, high-frequency flights to Tel Aviv (TLV), Beirut (BEY) and Dubai (DXB) in the Middle East

Flights are available to book through the Cyprus Airways website and mobile app, as well as through travel agencies.
