The newly formed Strovolos Municipal Hiking Club will hold its first excursion on Sunday, 8 November 2026, inviting residents of all ages to explore the Agia Marina Xyliatou Nature Trail.
The morning nature outing, organised by the Municipality of Strovolos in collaboration with the club, will take participants along the trail surrounding the Agia Marina Xyliatou Dam.
Open to all ages
The event is aimed at both experienced and beginner hikers.
The route is considered relatively easy and participation is free of charge. People of all ages are welcome, while children must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or another responsible adult.
Meeting and departure details
Participants will gather at 8:30am at the southern parking area of the Strovolos Town Hall, behind the post office at 100 Strovolos Avenue.
Departure by bus is scheduled for 9:00am, with the group expected to return at around 1:00pm.

Comfortable sportswear and trainers or hiking shoes are recommended.
