Heavy rain and possible hail expected in parts of Cyprus this afternoon.
A yellow weather warning for thunderstorms is in effect on Monday from 13:30 to 17:00, according to the Cyprus Department of Meteorology.
Cloud build-up during the afternoon is expected to bring localised showers and isolated thunderstorms, mainly affecting inland areas and mountainous regions, as well as parts of the southern and eastern coasts.
Rainfall intensity may locally exceed 35 millimetres per hour, while hail is also possible during storm activity.
