Construction Output Rises by 5.2% in 2025

Construction prices and output both record gains.

Construction output increased by 5.2% in 2025 compared to 2024, according to data released by the Statistical Service.

Over the same period, the Producer Price Index in construction recorded an increase of 4.1%.

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the Construction Production Index reached 135.02 units, based on 2021 as the reference year, marking a 9.0% increase compared to the same quarter of 2024.

The Producer Price Index in construction rose to 125.72 units during the fourth quarter, up 0.6% compared to the third quarter of 2025 and 3.0% higher than the corresponding quarter of 2024.
