The file concerning the Takata airbags case has been forwarded to the Legal Service for review and instructions, according to police.
A police spokesperson confirmed the investigation from the force was complete was recently forwarded to the legal service.
Asked whether the investigation had uncovered criminal offences, the representative said this would be examined by the Legal Service.
