A man’s body has been found in the Larnaca district as part of the investigation into the abduction of a 22-year-old from Bangladesh.
In the course of investigations by the Larnaca CID into the abduction of 22-year-old SHAHRUARAHMEDEMON from Bangladesh, evidence emerged against a 22-year-old foreign national, who was located and arrested today by police officers.
During questioning, the suspect is reported to have admitted guilt. He also led investigators to a specific location in the Larnaca district, where the body of a man was found, with indications suggesting it may be the abducted 22-year-old.
The area where the body was discovered has been cordoned off by police for further examinations.
