Cleaning works on storm drain gratings are under way today, Saturday 24 October 2026, on the Limassol-Nicosia motorway. They will continue until 3pm.
The works began at 7am and are taking place on the motorway’s hard shoulder. They cover sections between the Skarinou junction and the Germasogeia junction, in both directions.
While the works are carried out, the hard shoulder will be closed in stages, in sections of about 200 metres at a time.
Traffic will continue to flow normally in both lanes of the motorway.
