The major drugs case being investigated by the Anti-Drug Squad (YKAN) has taken a new turn, following the discovery of a further 263.5 kilos of a substance that initially appears to be ketamine in a warehouse in Limassol. If its identity is confirmed, the total quantity linked to the case will reach 386 kilos, making it one of the largest drug seizures in Cyprus in recent years.
In a significant new development in the large-scale drugs case under investigation by YKAN, authorities located an additional 260 kilos of a substance that initially appears to be ketamine in a warehouse in Limassol.

According to police, the discovery was made in the course of examinations that followed the recent seizure of 126 kilos of ketamine.
Investigations led authorities to a specific warehouse in Limassol, where a further 260 kilos of the suspect substance were found. It will undergo the necessary forensic testing for final identification.

Should the substance be confirmed as ketamine, the total quantity linked to the case under investigation will amount to approximately 386 kilos, making it one of the largest drug seizures to have concerned the Cypriot authorities in recent years.
