CSE Closes Higher on Monday

The general index ended at 286.06 points, up 0.55%, while daily turnover reached €228,557.77.

The Cyprus Stock Exchange closed higher on Monday, with the general index ending at 286.06 points, marking a rise of 0.55%.

The FTSE/CySE 20 Index stood at 170.11 points, up 0.93%. Daily turnover amounted to €228,557.77.

All sectoral indices moved higher. The Main Market rose by 0.40%, while the Alternative Market gained 1.33%. Investment Companies were up 0.34%, and Hotels recorded gains of 2.91%.

The highest trading interest was recorded in Pandora Investments, with €59,318 in turnover, closing at €0.25, up 8.70%. Bank of Cyprus followed with €58,832.38, closing unchanged at €9.15.

Eurobank recorded turnover of €44,471.10, closing at €3.901, down 0.15%, while Demetra closed at €1.44, up 0.35%, with €27,612.75 in turnover. Logicom closed at €3.10, gaining 3.33%, with turnover of €15,215.40.

Of the shares traded, 11 moved higher, three declined and four remained unchanged. The total number of transactions stood at 127.
