After years away from the stage, Celine Dion is set to return to live performances in France.

The star will hold a series of concerts at the Paris La Défense Arena starting in the autumn, with two shows each week in September and October at the 40,000-seat venue.

The news was published on Sunday 22 March by the newspaper La Presse and was promoted on Monday through a poster campaign across Paris, featuring titles from some of her most iconic songs, including Pour que tu m’aimes encoreand The Power of Love.

The performances had originally been scheduled for 2020 as part of the Courage World Tour, but were postponed due to the pandemic and later because of Dion’s health problems. In 2022 she was diagnosed with Stiff-Person Syndrome, a rare neurological and autoimmune condition. Her experience with the illness was documented in the 2024 documentary I Am: Celine Dion.

Her return to live performances after several years away from the stage offers fans the opportunity to hear her voice again in one of Europe’s largest concert venues.
