Driver, 30, in Serious Condition After Crash on Paphos-Limassol Highway

A 30-year-old man is in serious condition in hospital after a car crash on the Paphos–Limassol highway shortly after midnight.

Police said the driver was taken by ambulance to a private hospital in Limassol, where he is being treated for serious leg injuries. Doctors described his condition as serious.

The crash happened shortly after the Erimi exit. The man was driving towards Limassol when he lost control of his vehicle, according to the police.

The car came to a stop on the highway, trapping the driver inside. Members of the Fire Service were called to the scene and freed him from the vehicle.

The Limassol Traffic Police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
