Heavy rainfall affected several areas of Cyprus on Tuesday afternoon, causing temporary traffic problems and reduced visibility for drivers.
The storm mainly affected the Nicosia - Limassol motorway at the height of Kornos, where the rain was particularly heavy, with drivers forced to reduce speed.
According to the Police, severe weather conditions prevail in the area, with water accumulating on the road surface and very low visibility. Authorities called on drivers to be particularly careful, to drive at low speeds, to maintain safe distances, and turn their car headlights on.
