The Political Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Thessalia Salina Shambos, held meetings in Damascus with senior officials from across relevant departments of the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the ministry said.
The talks focused on a range of topics, including bilateral cooperation and EU-Syria cooperation, with an emphasis on supporting Syria's stability and recovery, according to a post on the Cyprus Ministry of Foreign Affairs' account on X.
The ministry said it was looking forward to the next steps in advancing good neighbourly relations between the two countries.
