Former Averof Neophytou has announced a series of public meetings with citizens as he seeks the DISY nomination for the 2028 presidential election.
Under the slogan "AVEROF 2028, Moving Forward Together!", Neophytou will hold three open discussions in Agioi Omologites, Kaimakli and Platy on Tuesday and Wednesday.
In a post on X, Neophytou invited citizens to attend the meetings, saying he wanted to hear directly about the issues that concern them.
"Friends, come and talk. Let me listen to you and tell me what is on your mind," the campaign material states.

Schedule
According to the announcements, two meetings are planned for Tuesday, 3 November:
- 6pm at the Agioi Omologites Association
- 7.30pm at the Ethnikos Kaimakliou club
A third meeting will follow on Wednesday, 4 November, at 6pm at Stavraetos, Platy.
Part of 2028 campaign
The public gatherings form part of Neophytou's campaign activity ahead of DISY's internal process to select its candidate for the 2028 presidential election.
The former party leader is placing particular emphasis on direct engagement with party members and citizens as the race for the nomination gathers momentum.
