The swearing-in ceremony for the new members of the government will take place at 9:00am at the Presidential Palace following the mini-reshuffle decided by President Nikos Christodoulides.
Handover ceremonies to follow
A series of handover ceremonies will then take place at the affected ministries and deputy ministries.
At 10:15am, a handover ceremony will be held at the Deputy Ministry of Social Welfare. This will be followed by ceremonies at 11:00am at the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, 11:45am at the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, and 12:30pm at the Deputy Ministry of Culture.
New appointments announced on Tuesday
On Tuesday, President Christodoulides, exercising the powers granted to him under the Constitution, announced changes to the composition of the government.
Evanthia Tsolaki was appointed Minister of Transport, Communications and Works, Christos Senekis was appointed Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, Tina Pavlou was appointed Deputy Minister of Social Welfare, and Clea Papaellina was appointed Deputy Minister of Culture.
The President also appointed Elias Myrianthous as Commissioner for the Environment and Animal Welfare, Irini Poyiatzi as Commissioner for Citizens' Rights, and Panayiotis Palates as Director of the Office of the President of the Republic.
First Cabinet meeting
The Cabinet, in its new composition, will hold its first meeting at 1:00pm.
