A yellow warning for isolated thunderstorms and hail has been issued by the Department of Meteorology, mainly affecting mountainous areas and inland regions of the island.
Rainfall intensity may exceed 35 millimetres per hour.
The warning will be in effect from 11:00 in the morning until 6:00 in the afternoon.
