Police are investigating a shooting attack against a building in the Linopetra area of Limassol after multiple shots were fired late on Wednesday night.
According to police, the incident occurred at around 10:50pm, when unknown individuals opened fire at the property, causing damage to parts of the building.
Entrance and window damaged
Preliminary examinations indicate that the gunfire struck the glass frontage of the building's main entrance as well as a window on the first floor.
No injuries have been reported.
Scene sealed off
Police officers attended the scene shortly after the attack, cordoning off the area and conducting examinations.
Investigators collected evidence and carried out forensic inquiries as part of efforts to establish the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
Investigation under way
The Limassol CID is continuing investigations to identify those responsible and determine the motive behind the attack.
Authorities have not yet announced any arrests.
