The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works has announced additional bus services on the Nicosia to Ayia Napa and Paralimni route starting this Saturday, 13 June, in response to increased summer demand for travel to the free Famagusta district.
The reinforced timetable, operated by Intercity Buses, adds services on the Nicosia to Ayia Napa/Paralimni route in the mornings and on the return Paralimni/Ayia Napa to Nicosia route in the afternoons. The ministry said the move aims to provide more travel options, support sustainable transport and improve access to one of Cyprus's most popular summer destinations, which draws particularly large numbers of young people, students and tourists during the summer months.
