Iran has denied launching attacks toward Cyprus, Turkey and Azerbaijan, according to statements by a spokesperson for the Iranian foreign ministry.
Speaking in response to reports about recent attacks directed at the three countries, the spokesperson said that no attacks originated from Iranian territory.
Claims some incidents may have been staged
The spokesperson also suggested that some of the reported incidents may have been staged.
“We have repeatedly warned that the enemy may stage certain attacks in order to create a rift between us and other countries,” the spokesperson said.
No further details were provided regarding the incidents referred to in the statement.

Regarding Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Cyprus, the General Staff of the Armed Forces has explicitly and officially announced that no such launches were made from within Iran or by our military forces.
