The merger of Hellenic Bank with Eurobank Cyprus is already in full swing, with the new name Eurobank Limited gradually appearing on buildings.

The merge of Hellenic Bank with Eurobank Cyprus has already been set in motion, creating the new Eurobank Limited, a strong, modern bank that combines local experience with the expertise and high service standards of the Eurobank Group.

As part of this process, a series of tangible and digital changes have begun, immediately upgrading the banking experience. At the same time, the top priority remains ensuring smooth and uninterrupted service, with no hassle and no action required from customers.

What Changed

The first updates are already visible in the branches: new signage and visual alignment of their external appearance, both at the bank’s headquarters at the entrance to Nicosia and across its branches and business centers. It is estimated that by next month, signs will have been replaced at all branches in every city.

In total, 15 branches are operating under a “Branch in Branch” model, serving customers who hold accounts at both banks: 8 Eurobank Cyprus branches and 7 Hellenic Bank branches, until the full network integration.

ATMs, the bank’s website (Eurobank.cy), digital channels (Online Banking and Mobile App), as well as the organization’s social media accounts, have already begun adopting their new look.

All printed materials in branches and customer correspondence have been updated with the new logo and design.

Transfers at No Charge

A key benefit for customers is that money transfers between Eurobank and Hellenic Bank accounts are now processed free of charge (provided no currency conversion is required), credited on the same day, and routed through the most efficient method (SEPA or SWIFT).

What Remains the Same

For customers of both banks, daily transactions and the operation of their accounts remain unchanged. Accounts and IBAN numbers are not changing. Debit and credit cards remain valid, along with PINs and login credentials for the bank’s digital channels. Standing orders, transfers, and the terms of existing accounts continue to apply without any modifications. In addition, customers continue to be served at the same branch by their personal banker, while all contracts, agreed product terms, and safety deposit boxes remain active.

In the next phase, cards will gradually be replaced with new ones bearing the Eurobank logo. Customers will be notified and no action is required from them until then. Meanwhile, the name change is progressing step by step, with Eurobank branding being adopted across all documents, digital environments, and branch signage.
