The official studio account on X confirmed the figure, describing the response as unprecedented and placing the trailer among the ten most viewed trailers of all time worldwide.

Studio confirmation and public statement

In a post on X, the studio stated:

“222,000,000 trailer views in 24 hours? Groundbreaking. Literally. Thank you for making The Devil Wears Prada 2 the most viewed trailer of all time for 20th Century Studios.”
