The Troodos Mountains were covered in snow once again on Sunday as steady snowfall blanketed the mountain range, transforming the area into a winter landscape.

The snowfall began around midday and has continued across higher-altitude areas of the range, with snow accumulating on the ground and covering large parts of the surrounding terrain.

Images and videos shared on social media by KitasWeather captured the snowfall in real time, showing thick flakes falling across the mountainous areas.

Authorities have urged drivers and visitors travelling to the mountains to exercise caution due to slippery roads and deteriorating weather conditions.
