A forest fire broke out in the Laona area of Drouseia community in Paphos district at 12:05 on Wednesday.
According to the Department of Forests, the fire was brought fully under control by 13:00 after burning four decares of low wild vegetation.
Firefighting response
Seven Department of Forests personnel responded with one fire engine, alongside four Fire Service members and two fire engines.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
