Today will start mostly clear, with intervals of increased low cloud. As the day progresses, cloud will build and, after midday, local showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected, particularly over mountainous areas and inland. Hail may occur during storms.
Winds will initially be variable and light at around 3 Beaufort, gradually shifting to south-westerly to north-westerly at light to moderate strength, 3-4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to slightly rough. Temperatures will reach around 26°C inland, 24°C along the west coast, 25°C in other coastal areas and about 13°C in higher mountain regions.
Tonight, conditions will turn mainly clear, although increased cloud is expected at times, particularly in the western half of the island. Later and into the early morning hours, patches of mist or fog may form locally, especially inland and in eastern areas. Winds will be light and mainly downslope at around 3 Beaufort, with the sea remaining calm to slightly rough. Temperatures will fall to around 14°C inland, 15°C along the south and east coasts, 16°C elsewhere along the coast and about 11°C in higher mountainous areas.
From Tuesday through Thursday, cloud will develop after midday, bringing isolated showers and occasional thunderstorms, mainly in mountainous regions.
Temperatures will rise gradually until Wednesday, reaching near average seasonal values, before a slight dip is expected on Thursday.
