A total of 208 people residing illegally in Cyprus returned to their countries of origin last week.
The returns were carried out through the forced and voluntary return procedures of the Aliens and Immigration Unit, in cooperation with the Deputy Ministry of Migration and International Protection.
According to a police announcement, 7,014 people who had been residing illegally in the territory of the Republic of Cyprus have left the country since the beginning of the year.
At the same time, a further decrease in the number of arrivals was recorded in 2026, with the figure standing at 1,126.
