Authorities seized 25kg of cannabis during a joint operation by the Drug Law Enforcement Unit (YKAN) and Customs at Larnaca Airport.
Passenger stopped for customs check
At around 3.30 am, a customs officer stopped the 40-year-old for inspection at YKAN’s request.
The search uncovered two packages containing cannabis with a total gross weight of 25kg.
The man was arrested and taken into custody to assist the investigation. YKAN is continuing its inquiries.
