Boy, 14, Hospitalised After E-Scooter Crash in Trachoni

The teenager suffered an epidural haematoma after hitting a parked car and remains in stable condition.

 

A 14-year-old boy is being treated at Makarios Hospital after the electric scooter he was riding struck a parked car in Trachoni. He sustained an epidural haematoma and remains in stable condition.

Collision under investigation

Police said the collision occurred at around 12.30am when, under circumstances being investigated, the teenager struck the rear of a parked car.

He was initially taken to Limassol General Hospital and later transferred to Nicosia General Hospital for medical examinations.

Transferred to Makarios Hospital

Doctors found that the boy had suffered an epidural haematoma, and he was admitted for treatment.

He was subsequently transferred to Makarios Hospital, where he will remain under observation in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit. His condition is described as stable.

Episkopi Police Station is continuing its investigation.
