A 37-year-old man is to face criminal charges over the death of his three-year-old son in Paphos after the Attorney-General ordered his prosecution following a review of the evidence gathered during the police investigation.
According to police, the charge concerns causing death through a reckless, negligent or dangerous act under the relevant provisions of the Criminal Code.
The suspect is expected to appear before Paphos District Court shortly, where the case will be formally filed.
