Macron Responds to Christodoulides: ‘You Can Rely on France and Our Friendship’

French President Emmanuel Macron said Cyprus can rely on France and its support, responding to a message posted by President Nikos Christodoulides on X. “We are with you. You can rely on France and our friendship,” Macron wrote in his post.

Exchange of messages after Cyprus visit

Macron was responding to a message from Christodoulides, who had thanked the French president for his presence in Cyprus and for France’s continued support for the country.

Macron visited the Andreas Papandreou air base in Cyprus on Monday, where he met with President Christodoulides and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
