4.7-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Near Skiathos

A moderate earthquake was recorded west of Skiathos on Tuesday, with tremors also felt in Attica.

A 4.7-magnitude earthquake struck west of Skiathos at midday on Tuesday, April 28.

According to updated data from the Geodynamic Institute of Athens, the tremor was recorded eight kilometres west of Skiathos.

The earthquake had an estimated focal depth of 13.1 kilometres.

Tremors were also felt in Attica.
