The Cyprus Federation of Patients’ Associations (CyFPA) announced the launch of a survey aiming to record and analyse the experiences of beneficiaries of the General Healthcare System (GHS) with their personal doctors.

The survey, which has received approval from the Cyprus National Bioethics Committee, seeks to collect citizens’ opinions, experiences, and suggestions to identify areas that function effectively, as well as those that require improvement – with the ultimate goal of enhancing the quality of healthcare services for all.

Under the heading, "Share your experience with the GHS – Give us the strength to advocate for you," the CyFPA survey aims to examine:

• The personal experiences of beneficiaries regarding the use of Personal Doctor (PD) services within the GHS framework.

• The way and degree of communication between beneficiaries and their PD.

• The experiences of individuals with chronic conditions.

• The level of public awareness regarding the capabilities and services of the GHS.

• Possible areas for improvement and strengthening of the patient–PD relationship.

Participation is anonymous, and completing the questionnaire takes only a few minutes.

The CyFPA noted that collecting as many responses as possible would help achieve a more accurate and comprehensive depiction of the real situation, which will serve as a powerful tool in their hands.

The questionnaire can be completed here: https://forms.office.com/e/hxEnAmyEPT or via the CyFPA website at www.cypatient.org.

“Share your experience, positive or negative, and help us advocate on your behalf, and protect what ensures your safety and supports your every effort to secure the healthcare services you need,” said the announcement.

To contact the CyFPA, beneficiaries may call +357-22386001or email info@cypatient.org.
